What I use it for
The cases where Genspark genuinely helps me:
- Client presentations: "build me a 15-slide deck on the training market in France." It spits out a clean PowerPoint in 5 minutes.
- Industry research: Deep Research scans dozens of sources and hands you a structured report with citations.
- Automated calls: "call this restaurant and book a table for 4 at 8pm." The voice agent does it and records the conversation for you.
- Comparing quotes: calling 5 vendors to gather their rates (with their consent, by email too).
- Data tables: "compile the revenue of the 20 French SaaS companies above €10M" and it builds the table.
How it compares
vs Perplexity Comet: Comet is better for active web browsing. Genspark is better at producing deliverables (docs, slides, calls).
vs ChatGPT Atlas: Atlas requires the Pro plan at $200/month. Genspark at $20/month is far more accessible.
vs Gamma / Tome (AI slides): Gamma makes prettier slides out of the box. Genspark wins on the all-in-one angle (slides + research + voice).
What it costs
Prices as of May 2026 (source: genspark.ai):
- Free: limited use (a few free credits per day)
- Plus: $20/month (generous credits, access to all agents)
- Pro: $200/month (for very heavy usage)
AI Call (phone calls) burns credits per minute of call. It stays manageable.
My take
AI Call genuinely surprised me. Being able to hand off "call 5 vendors to gather their rates" is a huge time-saver. The English output is solid.
The slides are clean but less pretty than Gamma's. The Word docs are decent. Deep Research does the job just fine for topics that aren't too niche.
At $20/month, it's a good addition to an entrepreneur's stack. Especially if you do a lot of phone prospecting or client reporting.
Quick questions
Does the voice agent speak English?
Genspark is an all-in-one AI agent platform (founded in 2024): deep research, slide and document generation, smart sheets, and a voice agent that makes phone calls, all under one subscription.
Is it legal to use AI Call?
Yes, but depending on the jurisdiction you have to tell the person on the other end that they're talking to an AI. Good practice either way.
Does Genspark store my searches?
Yes, in your history, and you can delete them. Data isn't used for training by default.
